Speaking and Browsing

 

Tap an item to speak.

Items have a light blue background.

  

Tap a folder to open.

Folders have a dark blue background and three dots in the bottom-right corner.

  

Tap the home bar to go back.

The home bar is black and has an icon of a home.

Pictures and Syncing

 

Hold on a picture to open.

Pictures are on the left.  You can also open items that don’t yet have pictures. These have a white camera icon.

  

Tap the plus button to add or change a picture.

You can use existing photos on your mobile device or take new ones using the camera.

  

Pull down to sync with MyVoiceAAC.com.

Download changes you have added from the website, such as new words and places.  Upload changes you have made in the app, such as adding new pictures.

Location Awareness and Places

 

Tap the corner button to switch into “place mode”.

MyVoice can present relevant words and phrases based on your location.  Add important places in your life and give them custom vocabularies using MyVoiceAAC.com

  

Find nearby places by tapping the globe.

Any places you have added will appear in a list, with the nearest places at the top, and the farthest places at the bottom.

  

Add your current place by tapping the flag.

Once you have named and saved your new place, visit MyVoiceAAC.com to add custom vocabulary that will appear when you visit it again.
